Localization / Operations
Overview
This system made localization progress easier to understand across multiple languages, vendors, and release requirements.
The challenge
Vendor assignments, language assets, costs, deadlines, and approvals were tracked in separate places, creating uncertainty around delivery readiness.
My role
I designed the workflow structure, clarified status definitions, and built views for vendor management, approvals, and territory readiness.
What I built
A localization tracker with language assets, vendor ownership, deadline status, cost tracking, approval checkpoints, and delivery status.
Process
I mapped the localization lifecycle, identified the repeated decision points, and organized fields around the questions teams asked most often.
Key features
Vendor assignments • Language asset tracking • Approval status • Cost visibility • Territory delivery views
Outcomes
The team gained a clearer operational view of localization progress and reduced the risk of missed deadlines or unclear ownership.
